This session will explore the power and necessity of Public sector partnerships in mobilizing much need resources to urgently address the global coral reef crisis that is threatening the lives of millions of people, especially vulnerable communities such as those found in the Pacific. By showcasing examples of ongoing and potential collaborative platforms being done through the Coral Reef Rescue initiative, the session aims to provide viable ways for governments, business & industry, civil society and science and academia to come together to build a global coral reef and community resilience for a climate-ready and sustainable future for people and nature.
