Sea-surface temperatures were generally near to above normal across the equatorial Pacific, with the warmest anomalies, exceeding 1.o degree celcius near Hawaiiand the Southern marshall islands.
Well below normal rainfall was recorded in Hawii, the Federated States of Micronesia, the Republic of Palau, the Marshall islands, Guam and the Commonwealth of the Northern Marianas.
