The Seventh Joint Ordinary Meeting of the Contracting Parties to the Apia and SPREP Conventions was held on 10 September 2004 in Papeete, French Polynesia. Parties to the Apia Convention in attendance were Australia, Cook Islands, Fiji, France and Samoa. Parties to the SPREP Convention in attendance were Australia, Cook Islands, Federated States of Micronesia, Fiji, France, Marshall Islands, New Zealand, Samoa and the United States of America. Observers from Niue, Tuvalu and Tonga were also present as well as SOPAC and Greenpeace. The list of participants is attached as Annex 1
