The variety of products qualifying as E-waste is diverse, as are the life-spans and optimal end of-life management options for different products. E-waste consists of expensive and more or less durable products used for data processing, telecommunications or entertainment or in private households and businesses. It can include: tablet personal computers, laptops, entertainment electronics (such as radios, speakers), mobile phones, photo copying and fax machines, scanners, printers, notepads, television screens and DVD players.
