Tapuhia waste management facility and rehabilitation of Tukutonga dump site: Environmental Impact Assessment Study Working Paper WP35

The project of two major activities: the closure and rehabilitation of the existing tip at Tukutonga and also the opening of the new waste management facility at Tapuhia Quarry. The new waste management facility proposes to improve the quality of life for the people of Popua and Tukutonga nad to modify the community's attitude towards littering through the establishment of na accessible and modern waste management facility located centrally in the island.
