SPREP marine pollution monitoring and control programme baseline study of the Huon Gulf, Papua New Guinea : final report

Abstract

SPREP-POL is the response of the South Pacific nations to consolidate the on going pollution research and monitoring projects of SPREP into a regionally-co-ordinated monitoring, research and control programme. The major aim of this programme is to provide Governments with recommendations, based upon quality scientific data, for the introduction or improvement of legislation to control pollution of the marine environment.
