Abstract

On the reef is a musical comedy featuring some very unlikely characters - a triton shell, a fish, an octopus, a sea cucumer and a crab. They must choose a song to represent them in a great reef band competition. But who will it be? Sea cucumber about his reef cleaning activities? or Triton's, about how she protects the reef? Octopus and crab stake their claim too. They cannot agree. Meanwhile, danger surrounds them. On the reef features members of Wan Smolbag Theatre, Vanuatu's first community theatre group.
