Abstract
An extensive audio discussion on Climate Change and the Pacific Conference of Churches Statement to the Climate Change meeting held in Majuro, Marshall Islands. Carolyn Court conducts interviews with three people; Graham Pierreman (Head of Department - CSIRO Atmospheric Research Division), Peter Salamanson (Secretary for Justice, Peace & Development for Pacific Conference of Churches, Suva), and Pene Lefale (Greenpeace Pacific Climate Change Campaigner). Pierreman speaks about the known and unknowns of climate, while Salamanson explains the purpose of the meeting. Pene Lefale describes the conference and Pacific Island churches participation as crucial and encouraging with churches being an influential element of Pacific Island communities.
