Abstract

A 38minute audio presentation covering the following issues; rehabilitation of Nauru corals, Greenpeace Report on potential impact of Ozone Layer depletion on live stock and pets, and environmental concerns raised at the Asia & Pacific Regional Non-Government Womens Forum held in Manila, Phillipines. Janet Hunt (Director of the International Womens Development Agency), explains issues discussed in the Forum relating to the environment. Greenpeace campaigner, Liz Smith explains the Greenpeace Report and it's implications. On this same issue, Dr. Hue Worth (National President of Royal Society for the protection of Animals in Australia), explains how a conclusion that skin cancer in Australian pets has increased measurably in the last 3 years, was reached. Dr. Richard Murphy reports on coral bleaching and low coral diversity in Nauru waters.
