International Coastal Clean-up Day (ICCD) 2022 Waste Collection Statistics

Abstract

To promote a Cleaner Pacific, Secretariat of the Pacific Regional Environment Programme (SPREP) actively participated in the International Coastal Clean-up Day (ICCD) 2022, bringing together close to 2000 volunteers from 6 Pacific island countries. The ICCD is the single largest coastal clean-up day in the world, and this is the second year SPREP has been involved in the activity through a collaborative effort between projects, partners and communities in the Pacific.
