Abstract

This manual is designed for teachers and shows the value of environmental education, which is a wide-ranging vision for creating a sustainable future for our communities. Teachers are guided through the goals of environmental education, recognising the skills and perspectives of children and how to foster good values and critical thinking of students focusing on the environment. It also offers practical advice on setting up an environmental school council, conducting environmental audits of the school and incorporating environmental education into the wider curriculum.
