Analysis of international funding for the sustainable management of coral reefs and associated ecosystems.

Abstract

This analysis was conducted by UN Environment, the International Coral Reef Initiative (ICRI) and UN Environment World Conservation Monitoring Centre, in response to United Nations Environment Assembly (UNEA) Resolution 2/12 on sustainable coral reef management and the ICRI 2016-2018 Action Plan Goal 1.2, which encourages financing for projects and initiatives helping to protect and restore coral reefs, mangroves and seagrasses.
