Abstract
L’analyse du régime de feu dans la haute vallée de la Kouaoua entre dans le cadre du projet démonstateur PEBACC+. Elle repose sur 108 images satellites de 2000 à 2023 autour des tribus de Konoyes-Shaoué, Ouérou-Pimé et Méchin. Les 1 014 feux recensés ont brûlé 3 281 hectares. The analysis of the fire regime in the upper Kouaoua Valley is part of the Pacific Ecosystem-based Adaptation to Climate Change (PEBACC+) plus project demonstration efforts. The analysis is based on 108 satellite images from 2000 to 2023 around the tribes of Konoyes-Shaoué, Ouérou-Pimé and Méchin. The 1,014 fires recorded burned 3,281 hectares of land.
