This report covers the State of Kosrae component of a project involving used oil audits in selected Pacific Island countries. The objective of the audits was to establish volumes of lubricating, hydraulic and transmission oils imported annually into each country and the volumes of used oil produced, stored or otherwise disposed. The work was carried out by Contract Environmental Ltd under a contract to the Secretariat of the Pacific Regional Environment Programme (SPREP), with funding provided by the Global Environment Facility. Most of the information required for the audit was obtained in a country visit undertaken by Martyn OCain from 23 June to 30 June 2014 and was organised through both the Office of Environment & Emergency Management of the Federated States of Micronesia and the Kosrae Island Resource Management Authority (KIRMA).
