Pacific Island Countries (PICs) are among the most physically vulnerable nations in the world. They are highly exposed to the adverse effects of climate change and natural hazards such as tropical cyclones, earthquakes, tsunamis and volcanic eruptions which can devastate their entire economies, human and physical capital and negatively impact their long-term resilient development.
