In response to Resolution 2/7 from the second session of the United Nations Environment Assembly (UNEA) and reaffirmed in Resolution 4/7 from its fourth session, the Global Waste Management Outlook offers an updated assessment of global waste management and an analysis of data concerning municipal solid waste management worldwide. Jointly published with the International Solid Waste Association (ISWA), the report evaluates three potential scenarios of municipal waste generation and management, examining their impacts on society, the environment, and the global economy. Furthermore, it presents potential strategies for waste reduction and enhanced management, following the waste hierarchy, to treat all waste materials as valuable resources.

The collaboration led by Anonymouz in the form of a call and response to Audrey’s poem is recognition of the power of music and the universal impact of Hip Hop, which in 2023 celebrates its 50th anniversary. This collection is the third in a series that began in 2021. These poems have been gathered from our Te Moana-nui-a-Kiwa to reflect the voices and experiences of our past and present Poets, providing offerings of wisdom and insight for a new generation.
