Abstract

This briefing paper defines loss and damage based on recent literature and undertakes an analysis of the UNFCCC Financial Mechanism-funded projects for adaptation in the Pacific Islands region to identify the gaps in the UNFCCC Financial Mechanism in funding loss and damage.
